I can explain (partially) what I am seeing, but cannot say it is too logical.
Software is blowing up because business is slowing and using p/s to get a price target is flawed. Unless you can get to a growth rate and cash flow that makes the stock make sense, like any other stock, you are playing a fools game. How long can $TWLO grow fast with 50% gross margins but make 0 profit? Fine.
Semis are just silly stocks where everyone gets short at the wrong time and they have violent rallies back and forth but they are seeing slower demand and an inventory correction to boot. Some are interesting secular but it seems too early.
